I sitting in front of the PC, trawling through Autotrader & Pistonheads looking at cars.
lets face it, my Stolen 335d Coupe M Sport aint coming back.
so, what do I replace it with ?

Ive no kids, so ,all I really need is something with a small back seat to put Frank the Pug in.

The 335d coupe is an awesome all rounder,
remapped too - its bloody quick. (10.9 secs to 100)

Last month, i bought an Exige - so, thats staying..... for now.

I've thought about selling the Exige & buying an 07/08 Porsche 997 911
but, dont think so now.

I still want another 335d..... .

What am i missing ?
What else is out there?

£13,000 budget

D3? Or a 335d with a 320d badge and one exhaust tip removed.

I do like the D3's
But I don't like the half leather and no sat nav

Also, I'm a 6 cylinder man........

I had a D3 and then bought a 335d. As you indicate a D3 would be a disappointment. I now have as the daily driver a 330d, which is great and it seems more refined than the 335d. Although in a way I miss the 335d as upon reflection it felt like a muscle car.
A new D3 (6 cylinder) would be perfect, but I am not sure i could get approval from SHMBO........ :)

Thought about the 135i with a Hartge LSD?

Over budget but have you thought of the doing a PCP with BMW?

The v8 m3 will cost a tonne to run and fuel mate while not being any quicker......

The only car Mads ever moaned about fuelling and he now hass a 700bhp rs6!!!!!

Get your ass on track with the Exige. So much more fun that driving on the road, and your desire for v8 m3s will rescind.

I concur, I am bored selling this car now, come and pick it up this weekend! Cheapest in the U.K (or near enough!), it shouldn't be and returning a respectable 26/28mpg...http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =7&t=38784

Cheap car for the money! :thumbsup

Seems strange but practical head would definitely say keep the Exige as it's unlikely to lose a load of money in depreciation, the M3 would lose you buckets more whilst coating a fortune in petrol like Andy said.

As you need occasional back seats have you thought of a left field suggestion of a Maserati http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 03/2726685. Admit not the cheapest to run and Evo has a buyers guide this month.

PS if you want a look at the new 335D then more than happy to show you around ours :)
