this morning Danny lost his fight against cancer and passed away
At the Spa circuit we could fulfill his biggest wish and you guys gave him an unforgettable day taking him out on track in the 2eleven and the Ariel Atom.
we then knew that he had less than 2 months to go
Danny has had good and bad days since then, but last Friday he was taken home in an ambulance from EuroDisney in Paris (another wish) to the hospital in Nijmegen.
they sent him home because they could not do anything for him any more, gave him a few days
this morning -Tuesday- he sadly died at the age of 21

Very sad indeed when it's the passing of someone so young,our thoughts are with family and friends.

I'd been hoping whatever the prognosis he would prove them wrong again.

Horrible news, tragic that someone can be taken away so young. It's great that you took him to Spa for the day. I hear that he absolutely loved it

finally he has his final resting place in his parents living room. Not on the mantel piece but as to be expected Danny 'the car nut' has a special place.

Such sad circumstances...but what the parents have done is just absolutely bloody marvellous and such a unique tribute. A lot of thought, consideration, pride and effort has gone into that. Great for them to have put together the timeline of the restoration in photos as a memory for them too.
