a set of rear 48s from Wheels Around?
I think mine may die on Saturday so it'd be good to know what I'm looking at for replacing them. I'll not be going for the LTS ones.

I have medium hard, thinks thats what most seem to be going with.

youll kill the Ms far too quickly so MH are the way forward i reckon

why not go with the lts ones?
and u get to choose a compond hardness?

The LTS ones are only available though Lotus dealers and are therefore horrendously expensive. The MH compound rear is supposed to be very close - fronts are closer to M compound.

so wheels around cant get lts ones, but u can choose soft, medium, etc?

now thats worth having a separate set of wheels for!

Given the changing of the seasons would a softer compound not be a better bet?

I've got an 'interesting' combo of SS front and LTS rear A038Rs... (it's what he had at short notice) Not noticed an excess of wet weather grip from the front but I daresay it might even out wear characteristics
Not excessively 'bitey' from the front in the dry either, but then again, my dampers are shagged AGAIN and need a rebuild (or put in the bin and something decent in their place)

Remember, order them in advance, as he doesn't usually carry stock of Elise sizes.

May also need 048 rears on Saturday - any difference noticed in handling using non-LTS medium-hards?
