Not wanting to do Dan out of work, but since he doesn't do them I'm not, :P but, isn't Newcastle a bit of a long way to go for an MoT? Or are you going down anyway?

Well. I was thinking I could make a trip of it - especially if the car needs any work. Wouldn't mind a few rattles looked at etc..

Ross, I got mine done at Falkland in fife (not actually by them, but they got it done for me £30). I had my original one done at Farmers in Edinburgh, the big one at the fork in the road, so they know about elise jacking points. A chap in there also used to sell VXs, so he knows whats what. they charged £40 for the privilege.

Best of luck :)

If you are going down and plan to leave the car there and go back for it, I could bring you back up... I need a lift down to pick mine up... getting a new screen and an MOT done this week so I left the car there and got a lift back up with Ed.

Dan said to me that the MOT station is an "Elise friendly" station... they have an understanding...

Thanks for the offer John but just had a bit of a shock as it actually expires tomorrow!! Don't know where I got the 7th from. Dropping it off with my cousin tomorrow who deals with Taxi's and is going to use their guy.

I got the exige done through Falkland as well. That included them sticking a CAT on it to pass the test then whipping it off again after.
