Memory Man

Is it just me.....

every time we turn up to a meet or track day or whatever, we stand around chatting, introduce each other. Within two minutes of being told someones name its gone.. who is he again?

And the scary thing is, everyone else seems to remember who I am.. ..and because you dont like to be rude and ask "whats your name again?" you leave it like that. You walk around in the hope that someone else will be introduced to him so you can find out without looking like a pillok.

Anyway... if you do come up to talk to me, just asume that I have a memory like a fish. I will know who you are, just not what your name is...

Me too - It's even worse with trackplates as everybody knows who you are.

Would like to issue a general "i'm sorry" to all the folk who's name I won't be able to remember this coming weekend.

And a special appology to Ed/Tom for transposing their names.

Let's all wear name badges, but let's all wear badges with the names of people we would rather be, or names of people we would rather people thought we were.

Cheers,
Robin

I went to an SIDC thing at Kames and some of them have SIDC polo shirts with their names or nicknames on.

I suppose it solves the problem but it does make them look like a forgetful ten pin bowling team.
