I think the review consensus is that Alfa have yet again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and it doesn't drive half as well as it should... Would be worth finding out for sure.

£58 and a half grand? Owner number two will take a slight bath on that.....

58 and a half grand plus vat isn't it? Crazy money. Stunning car apart from the headlights, but hard to see it coming anywhere near an Exige V6 from a driving point of view.

Almost feel they should have stuck a Ferrari-esque front end on it, and a V6 in the back before badging it a Dino - Would have sold like hotcakes as an entry level Ferrari...
I spotted one on the road at Como in August, and it sounded impressive and had a fair bit of road presence.

Er...no. Chassis is lovely tech, but only 2kg lighter than an Elise one.....and it's a 1.7 turbo as found in the Mito. Great for low-emissions markets, and they've made it sound good, but for £60k plus I want more cylinders.

strongly suspect the only way they can command any sort of non-alfa-esk residual is down to the fact there is no supply.
Couldn't even be arsed going to drive one.

Followed a couple round Millbrook. Sounded rubbish imo.

Is it not the way that things are going, once the 4 pot Boxster/Cayman come out and the hubbub dies down then it will eventually be acceptable for sport cars at that price point to have less cyclinders
Slight turnaround that Lotus Esprit's were shunned due to their no of cyclinders and now it's the other way around

Exige V6. Alfa 4C.
Without starting the engine, which one looks like a £60k car, and which one looks like a £25k kit-car crashed into Demon Tweeks' January Sale?
It might not be 'our' cup of tea, but it's bloody lovely.

In the flesh with the original front lights, the Alfa is the Demon Tweeks special
