Fortunately he does not seem to be seriously injured, even though the car caught fire.

What caused that? he was backwards into the first corner? That looks like a really sore one, glad he's OK!

His front left tyre flew off before he hit the wall so I presume he made contact with the Ferrari before coming into the corner.

The BBC article says he had a big collision with the Ferrari first, then hit the wall. Also he has no memory of the accident due to concussion!
