Had to happen sometime.
Only constant in life is change - think this spells the end of TG in it's current format.

.......on the BBC. Not even sure about that actually, it is their biggest grossing show, sold to 32 countries .
If the rumours are true JC (& Andy Wilman ) own the rights too so when he goes so does the format,

Sky must be bursting in anticipation

BBC needs to grow a pair.
JC is an entertainer, and part of the entertainment is he's a dick. In the same way they should tolerate Frankie Boyle (say) being criticised by the right wing press and the right on aresholes they should tolerate the same when JC does it.
TV without the talent is just a little white dot or, god help us, Mrs effing Brown.

JC and Andy sold their 50% stake for an undisclosed sum to the BBC recently

I think it's easy to read more into this than there is. The BBC is often confused as a commercial organisation but really it works to a set of predetermined values. Yes it wants good ratings, but also needs cross demographic approval. Every show has a lifespan, and, if TG was to move on, I doubt there would be any regrets. Sooner, or later, something just as good will turn up to replace it. That's where the BBC wins - it has the resources keep experimenting and trying out new ideas.

Isn't Andy Wilman a producer? Perhaps he limped him.
They better sort it soon. Oafs.
Think of the children
ETA - if it goes to Sky I'm not watching.
