He had it coming to him. Im sure James & Richard will keep the program going. I even might watch the program now the Jeremy has gone. And on the Bombshell its time to say goodbye

Probably not Sky but someone will be aiming to pick up all three presenters and cash in on the format.
Quite probably it'll be better too.

From what I've picked up from reading one BBC news item.

Clarkson out - BBC trying to figure out how to get last two shows that have all the segments filmed out for this year. Refresh in 2016 (which I think means Hammond and May will be out - they seem to be pretty close to Clarkson anyway and already refused to present the remaining shows in his absence when he was suspended)

Chris Evans has categorically stated he won't do it.

There's been some speculation that Netflix have been sniffing about Clarkson since his suspension - would mean a very loose rein and a huge budget, if he does go that way. I'd be willing to wager there will be a motoring show with Clarkson, May and Hammond in some form announced in the next six months (if May and Hammond's contracts allow)

Was it not Clarkson who owned the rights for TG but sold them to the BBC. Guess they would have to be careful about the format of any new show so as not to end up in bother over infringement.

Evans rules himself out.

Could be a stunt of course ;-)

Would love to see Guy Martin on it,... maybe Chris Harris too, but not sure if he's a bit too serious for the show.

The current series (well most recent) of TG seemed to have found some of it's mojo again, was quite good on the most part. However, it was getting tired, so although, as a TG fan, I'll be sad to see it go (in it's current form) it was getting tired, and needed a re-fresh. A new beeb team might just do that, and an alternative elsewhere with Clarkston, May and Hammond might also be something fresh to see, so hopefully we will win out of this.

I'd say Chris Evans would be excellent, but it's a thankless task, following in such (love or hate him) big footsteps.

And he's not exactly needing the dough is he?

I agree with Shug, partially. Clarkson, with or without May & Hammond, on a different channel, similar format.

Yes, he and Wilman owned 50% of TG and sold out to the BBC in 2012, I think it was for around £8M.

ps:- James was just being accosted by the press, but told them to go away as he was just going on eBay to sell his Ferrari.

I think Guy Martin would be a good call although it would no doubt have a leaning towards bikes so might not work for many (no complaints here though).
Chris Harris , M eh, not a choice I would like, he has no personality to speak of and takes himself too seriously ( from the little I have seen of him)
