Post by Wacky Racer » Sat Oct 07, 2006 6:02 pm

Hi All

anyone know where I could get the cheaper Jap spec oz wheels and a048's for the elise. I've heard sw lotus may be able to supply???

Correct but mine are Jap spec as he said, hence the yellow stripe. For some reason they are cheaper than the ones you can buy from most dealers.

Derek will be able to confirm but I think mine came from here: http://www.swlotus.co.uk/

Ah - I just though your had the yellow stripe because you bought them from Derek (who is known for his interesting colour schemes)

I got those wheels (the ones on Si's car, with the yellow band) at the Stoneleigh show last November. They were the only highlight of the trip - the whole thing was a waste of time with more parts in the collective SE garages/sheds etc, and in better condition than what was available at Stoneleigh last year.

You need to speak to Phil at South West Lotus Centre - http://www.thelotuscentre.com/ - those wheels were new and came complete with tyres at a fraction of what dealers will sell you them for. And for the S1 and 111R guys, they had a stack of 160 wheels, S1 and S2 Exige wheels, again all very cheap.

And they even had some in standard colours too, if that is your thing. :)
