Been living here for a week now and it is still not ours.
Unfortunately the seller is still here as well as he is staying until the sale goes through.

ps:- one advantage is that Sky have given us a new tel no so hopefully the sales calls will cease.

Your lawyer must be having a breakdown at the ramifications of what happens if you end up squatting, or the previous owner ends up squatting, or............ :?

This sounds like a pitch for a sitcom.

Was thinking the very same thing in this age of "reality TV"

Move took a week and not finished yet Craig, still have the last load from TT to here, but most unpacked now. Verian as usual never stops and I help her as much as I can. So far we have had a power cut and the Internet feed went down yesterday but back now. House is lovely and warm, and I am not even sure if the GSHP is running much, but loads of hot water. Verian loves the showers, overhead rain type ones with good pressure, and three of the bedrooms are en suite. Dogs can run around as much as they want and the chooks have settled in.

The mortgage acceptance arrived today so we are hoping that the funds are paid into his account by Wednesday. Told him to stay away from me this morning, the power cut sent the HP into off mode, knocked on his bedroom door to tell him, he was on the phone and did not answer, asked him if it was OK to come in and turned the handle, a piece of wood fell down that he was using to prop up the door handle, and he went ape. When he came down he said that he needed his privacy and private space, and then stopped speaking to me.

Thought that it could turn nasty but Verian stepped in. As he is 6'4" and 16 stone, he boxed at heavyweight and me at welterweight and he is eight years younger, my chances normally would not be too great unless I put him down straight away, but as he has just had an operation on his leg and has fallen over a couple of times it would have evened up the odds. However he then went out and came back with flowers and a bottle of Vodka Gold and apologised, so something is going on in his head which may account for the five wives. Verian said that he would be impossible to live with. He is going to Spain to clue up with one of two women that he has been Skyping for three years, one 27 and one 51, in the meantime he spends his time on his laptop on dating sites talking to Asian women.

Does life ever get simple?

We are getting a series on BBC Three (then BBC One if it goes well). Six seasons and a movie.
