Frolic Tyres

Post by C7Steve » Wed Jul 08, 2015 8:17 am

Has anyone looked where to get ZZRs for the Frolic yet?

I thought I would ask before I started looking myself.

Cheers,

Steve.

I got my last lot direct from Avon but I'm also looking at a new set for the trip. I just can't remember who fitted them!

And they're still the same price as last year which is nice. :)

Unless you are driving something with mega power, 1 set should do the trip. The Atom managed it and I was brutal with it. Fire on a new set before you leave, and relax

I just fitted Avon ZZ5's a few hundred miles back. Craig is optimistic they are harder than the usual Pirelli, so I hope they'll see me through.

Camskill, good price, prompt delivery.

The 2-11 is still on last summer's SpaZ set and also done Oultwell and Croft!
(OK not much left on the rears)

For Frolic I'll be ordering full new set from Avon and probably someone in Edinburger to fit...

I just phoned Avon Motorsport and they have quoted me £138.40 each for the fronts and £196.70 each for the rear tyres. Plus vat of course.

BMTR are the same price; http://bmtrracing.com/lotus-on-track/

Cheers,

Steve.

Hi Steve, you think we could organise a group buy of them? think quite a few people will be looking to order so maybe we could sort a discount?

Sounds like a plan.
