3 Eleven in evo

Post by Digital » Mon Jul 13, 2015 9:08 pm

This month's evo magazine has a feature on the 3 Eleven where it's mentioned that one of the contributing factors to it's development was a comment from a member of "a Scottish Lotus club" during a trackday at Hethel asking the Lotus CEO "When do we get a 3 Eleven?" ...

Any of the 2 Eleven owners on here? Nice claim to fame if so, hope you get a discount :) :thumbsup

I think it was the boys that were on the Spaz trip last year that mentioned it.

This is indeed true but I don't think any of them said "Can you make it £80k+ please?".

I take it Evo didn't report what he said about Benny?

No, nothing more than a brief bit about where the original impetus came from! Dare I ask what was said?!

Think it was Ali and Andy G who were bending JMG's ear in the paddock... ;)

Brilliant, I remember you both saying you'd touted the 311 idea. It's all Ali and Andy's fault then. ;)

Yeah, in the shop and paddock to look at the 211.

Didn't quite meet my spec... ;)

A bit too heavy but more power than I asked for.
Expensive relative to 211 but I'm sure the handbrake won't go rusty... :D

311 will be awesome, what about the 411 mooted...

At least you weren't asleep on the ground like a vagrant/benny.

I can't remember Mr Gales exact words but he was questioning Graeme on the motivation to go to a track day and then just sit in the car park/paddock all day.

To be fair to Benny he did almost make it round a complete lap.

Sadly the "Vagrant Pack" (seat pulls out with one hand and folds flat as a bed for beside the car) has been deleted from the final spec
