Luke has just been informed that they are going onto a 3/3 routine from Jan 2016.

Pretty much across the board that is Tut.
Cost saving exercise, reduces the number of flights.

It won't be straight 3/3 fortunately! There's a few options on the table. All involve 3 weeks offshore though. Basically our days increase from 146 to anywhere between 161 and 168. Hardly the end of the world given the amount of job losses going around.

If that goes ahead it is a very big cut in the pilot workforce, and probably engineers as well.

Bristows had a big recruitment drive last year and hoovered up lots of engineers so its not good for those just in the door.
