Pass every night in the train... Noticed that there are (that I could see) no lotus cars outside Murrays just now. Does Brandon hide them away for the winter?

A friend was saying the same to me the other day.

Still around 20 cars on the website so I guess tucked up in the showroom / workshop.

They took in a friend's Evora to sell last week and Brandon emailed me yesterday about trading up to an Elise SC so definitely still there!
However I did hear that Newcastle Lotus was going plus several others down south.

The main Volvo / Lotus showroom is undergoing complete refurbishment and Brandon has temporarily relocated back into part of the Kia showroom. I was down seeing him on Saturday and he had just moved.
So no worries !!!

Yep, phase 2 of the refurbishment is underway so I have a nice temporary setup next door. Pop in and say hello, coffee is always on and the fridge is stocked (with juice!).

Popped in today.. 5 cars in Kia Showroom with quiet wee corner for Brandon looking out to behind the showroom where another half dozen or so are parked outside.
Theres a couple of 400s amongst some other models around the back of the workshops.

Was in on monday, place is a shambles, staff completely uninterested in being helpful.
Wont be back.
Walked into a flock of lotus, uninterested guy directed us to lotus show room without actually explaining how to get to it , and that didn't have any lotus, and guy on the desk wasn't close to being pleasant.
Mate might actually be in the market for another lotus, but after that experience will head down south for it. Must be great not to need sales.

I think it's an unrepresentative time while the refurb is on. Never easy for any business.
Brandon is a sound fellow, put your guy in touch and he may be pleasantly surprised.

Got to say my experience couldn't have been more different, Brandon came out to meet me as I probably looked lost with the changes that were going on. Can only say I was made most welcome and apart from the physical changes it was 1st class business as usual. Shame it wasn't the same for you.

I haven't bought a car from MMC for years (although they service the shed on an intermittent basis) but Brandon is always lovely and tolerates me sitting in cars and making brrm brrm noises. He's even been known to make me tea.
You must have caught it at a bad time.

I have a picture of tom sitting in the "Bat-Mobile" Evora that used to be in the showroom ... he was about 12 at the time, so he has an excuse for making vroom noises. You, on the other hand, do not

I'm confused - doesn't everyone make vroom vroom ( and peep peep) noises whenever they sit in a car in a showroom ....
