2,000,000 Defender at Auction Dec 16

This may be a very interesting auction tonight to see how much the 2.000,000 Defender makes at auction.

In case anyone is not aware its a very special edition and has lots of bespoke features but I suspect that it will not be cheap. I would not be surprised if it went for well over £130,000.

Just wish I that amount of money to spend on a car as the touches they have put into this Defender is fantastic.

At that sort of money, I would assume that the car would be heading for a collector, to be stored away and not used. Probably the right thing, but doesn't seem very "landrover".

Yep, also heard of one person that has bought the run out Heritage edition that it went straight from the delivery truck and into the store, just as it left the factory so no Predelivery inspection, number plates etc.

Quite sad really as when we tried to get the Heritage the intention was to use it every day.

Land Rover International indicated in last months publication that they expect a new Defender to be announced for the 2018 model year. However seemingly JLR are being very tight lipped about the replacement especially due to the outcry with the DC100.
