I haven't got a scooby and I doubt that any of the debate (other than on here, obviously) is going to enlighten me in any measurable way.

In.....you have to be a brain dead retard, apart from knowing fcuk all about Economics or where we would stand without being part of the largest trading power in the World, to vote no. Or a VX220 owner.

This is a vote that can be decided by the participants of our favourite TV shows, can not be bothered naming them as I would miss at least two dozen of them, or "the man in the street", best place for him/her because that is where they belong.

In the street and not deciding what is best for my future as their biggest decision of the day should be which cup of coffee they are going to order from "Starfcuks", the one with 25 spoonfuls of sugar in it or the healthy option with only 18. Not even going to get into the triple Macburger with cheese, bacon, large fries and a gallon of coke, followed by an extra large Knickerbocker Glory for £1.99, and your fat lazy kids who have never seen a football or a swimming pool, never mind a 440m race track, eat for free.

Howz zat for starters Pete?

So if you two free marketers want to stay, and this token liberal wants to stay, who the hell is driving the desire to leave (beyond those described in the later part of Tut's post and a couple of conspiracy theorists).

What like better together as I heard an SNP MP say without a hint of irony.

Jeez nothing like a sore winner  .

If we play that card we'll start asking the leave brigade how much the exit is going to cost... The CAA just ceded a ot of it's regulatory whatnot to EASA. That ain't going to be simple to unravel so I guess every other profession will be the same.

Hi Campbell,

Not sure why you say that?

It's not like me to agree with much that Mr Cameron says/does, but he is campaigning to stay in Europe and whilst the real value of the deal that he's struck is perhaps not so high, it's probably a step in the right direction for the pragmatists who see there is value in having access to Europe without necessarily having to do everything that the rest of them want to do.

Date's set for June, so we won't have too much ranting to listen to :-)

Cheers,
Robin

If we (UK) do vote to leave the EU, it's highly unlikely just now that Scotland will be in agreement so It will give the SNP renewed vigour and Independence talk will start afresh and I don't want the Nats to have an excuse.......

I will follow the arguments for and against with interest. :?

I think Boris may regret his decision.

Miss Krankie said today that if it is a No vote there will be another Scottish Referendum.

That highlights a very real problem for those resident here in Scotland who are Unionists, but want out the EU (I'm not saying I'm one of those - I'm undecided and simply hypothesising). There's a possibility, according to the SNP's rhetoric, that such a result could mean those folk could end up still in the EU and out of the UK!

One could therefore argue the referendum this side of the border will not be as free as it should be, as some will feel their choice isn't a choice.
