Using our figures the above usage would be £1534 per year.
Mike,

How are you getting on with Outfox, sure they turned up on the comparison site as being cheaper and I discounted them as thought the company sounded naff

They are OK, they still f%ck about with your direct debit to start with but they all do that. Once you get in touch they will set it and generally leave it be. Don't really have much contact with them, just when they ask for a meter reading usually, but have also had no issues with them so far. Been with them for about a year now.
Web site is naff though.

I've ended up signing up with Together Energy on their Brexit Protect June 2021 tariff. It's working out about 13% more expensive than Pure Planet but it's fixed for 3 years so if prices continue to creep upwards I could be quids in. Worst case scenario I can get out of the contract early for a £60 charge.

Just signed up to "Outfox the market" as with my current energy they work out at over £250 cheaper than Pure Planet. They do have a price increase coming but even if its a 2p/unit then it works out the same as Pure Planet

I see Extra Energy and Spark have both gone bust this week.

Not surprised spark went they never sent me a final bill from a previous switch recon it was 400+ quid I owed them. Despite multiple attempts to remind them. Total shambles

Lots of complaints on Martin Lewis's Money Supermarket about Outfox.

They are changing to the - pay more in winter, cheaper in summer model.

However means that is some cases they have increased direct debits by 40% which understandably came in for some flack.

Sceptical in me is saying they are having issues and trying to get in as much revenue as possible to survive in the current market and then worry about things in the summer.

I have emailed them as my usage is pretty consistent over the year. Looks like my electric only direct debit will go from £136 to £174 from Oct to March. Better than the previous email which theu told me it would go to £216 over the winter months.

Better tell Sandra to just keep the aga on for only baking the xmas cake and thats it!!!
