Synters dealers have been told to stop selling GT cars over list. Lost count of how many people have been pissed about by Porsche on this one

As you know my mate got his at list.

His old boy was given a nudge and a wink that he was getting the one 911R they'd been allocated. Apparently that's been pulled from under him to give to a 918 customer.

Whatever happened to yours Andy?

Bloody good question! Still cock all news on them and suspect I've been shafted.

Far from happy and if I wasn't so keen on having one would have told them where to go.

I guess Porsche can afford to operate with their heads up their collective bottom.

Common practice, according to those in the know.

Outrageous and unprofessional.

They are selling used cars at market value.

Supply and demand is one thing but manipulating sales to ensure they get the "used" stock back in is pretty low. Perhaps just my tainted opinion after how I was treated but there is no smoke without fire and the fact synter have pulled all their adds for nearly new GT cars only supports it. Cars were being allocated to "preferential" customers who would pretty much drive the car round the block and hand it back in with them and the dealers doing rather nicely out of it, meaning that genuine enthusiast customers who wanted the cars to drive can't get them, at least at correct prices.
I had a deposit in for one, got conformation I was getting one, got the drivers day invite then 2 weeks later got an e mail from the stealer saying that there had been a mistake and I wasn't getting one. In other words reading between the lines my car was given to someone else although I can't actually prove it........

It's just another feckin' car for crying out loud. If it's that good then they should build as many as they can sell. If they want to keep it exclusive then charge sh!t loads for it to limit production but don't manipulate the market so that the price goes through the roof because of short supply and for no other reason. It's the reason I will never buy another Porsche, if it was the last car maker on earth I would rather walk, I think they are just full of dog **** as a company and completely up their own ar5e,
