Re: Rare S1
It was on pistonheads for £95K this morning but they have since put it as POA.

Interesting to see what it does sell for if at all.

That is a thing of beauty. Anyone know how many were made and still exist? Can't be that many.

Re: Rare S1
That was from one source, another said that there were 20+ racing in the first event in 2000, so difficult to pin down.

Not a genuine Motorsport one.

is it a genuine Exige at least?
Re: Rare S1
Cammy rarely posts nowadays. I think he had two 160S's, followed by a 340R after this, then an Evora.

7 or 8 years ago on the way to KH on a nice summers day I decided to pass Tut and managed to write off my 1st S1 Elise at the next bend.
On Saturday on the way to KH I decided once again to pass Tut only to all of a sudden find plumes of oil burning smoke belching from the back of the 340R.
In a nutshell, I'm never passing King Tut again.

Re: Rare S1
Cammy had a Millennium S1 also as I remember paxing him round KH.
His 340R became the green one which he sold to Gareth, as he came to my house to compare Roulette green on my R400 (which I bought from him!) with a swatch of green hide he'd acquired from Lotus...he then used ChrisG's dad to repaint it
He was also the first owner of Stu P's Scandal S160

Re: Rare S1
No it's a genuine Motorsport Elise. Far more exclusive than the S1 Exige and indeed the car that inspired the creation of the Exige in the first place. Worth every penny of the £95k in the current climate of crazy classic cars prices, IMHO.Ferg wrote:is it a genuine Exige at least?
