I thought harris was a bit over directed and slightly OTT almost as if the production team say, viewers love your enthusiasm Chris, turn it up to 11!

Harris is growing on me, got to be honest, I now think he's the best bit of the show.

Was so disappointing that Evan reviewed the Zenos, thought it was a pretty dull review.
Thanks to Evans my neighbours are all selling up........... :blackeye

The interview section that Evans chairs mid show is bloody terrible.

Agreed.

I've quite enjoyed the new series but I thought last night's was the weakest. Thought Harris was very good.

Matt is entertaining but he can't do the studio stuff too well. Rory Reid is pretty good too.

Rumours abound he was being a diva in the studio and LeBlanc basically said "him or me" - given the response to LeBlanc has been more favourable, I think he may have been encouraged to step down...

...which if all true, would be a shame and disappointing me about Evans - who I basically like as a presenter, just not that suited to TG

Just saw this on BBC website and my reaction was "good" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36707266

Think the next series (assuming there will be one!) will be all the better sans-Evans. All the film pieces involving him have consistently been the least watchable for me. His car review films have been especially dire.

problem now is that much as I like 'Joey' he's not really lead presenter material.

I think Rory should take the role, dump Jordan and Sabine, job done.

For a first series I don't think they've done too badly. The BBC might be disappointed with the viewing figures, but I suspect the appeal of the previous squad had built up over a long time, so it's hardly unexpected.

Evan's just seems to be trying too hard, he's not natural and it doesn't seem to work. Sabine is much the same, but she's not a natural presenter so to be expected.

I enjoy top gear extra more than the main program, so they have the answer if they choose to act on it.

He should stick to what he's good at. Radio 2. He might be there a bit more often if he's not filming TG.
I hope they ditch EJ, and (sadly) Sabine too.
Rory Reid was the best of them all.

The last one was quite watchable, good cars and none of the silliness, with two celebs that worked.
