New Top Gear

Post by C7Steve » Sun May 29, 2016 9:43 am

BBC 2 20:00 tonight.

Interested to see how the new presenters interact together and generally what the series will be like.

Same here.
Never really been a fan but watched it often enough in the past to know what to expect.
Hoped for something a wee bit less of the same old stuff.

Oh dear.

Really rather disappointed at the samey format, with Clarksonesque comments and tone.

Poor effort.

:withstupid

After the previous criticism and the amount of effort that was put into re-inventing Top Gear I expected more than the same programme with different presenters. Not all bad but just a bit of an anti climax. :?

All the top gear complainers on here should be ecstatic.

They have manage to take all the tired, tedious bits of the previous top gear version and combine it with presenters that lack any charisma, knowledge or camaraderie to make a truly awful piece of television.

I hope you are satisfied.

I thought LeBlanc came across the best, but Evans did not bring much to the party.

Steve.
Must admit, Matt was the best of a bad situation.. Evans just felt so false and scripted... even the audience integration felt scripted with probable plants in the audience..

Will watch it for the individual review parts but will probably end up forward winding the studio parts. Which is what I would do with the old series, so same sh*t different faces...
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....
