Sorry to hear this Martin, I don't have anything but I suffered similar at Oulton Park yesterday entering Druids at 110mph. My Mintex 1144 pads which were fitted only 2 weeks ago literally disintegrated. Buttock clenching moment. All 4 front pads went to the metal in an attempt to make the corner - which I did.

Slightly unimpressed given I've used Mintex for 2 years without issue. Seems CL5+ have similar issue too. Time to change and hunt for something better it seems

We nearly all used Pagids at one time which did the job well.

Jeepers....saw the pictures on FB...

I will need to get cl5+ pads as the ones on the rear are only 200miles old.....after the little mishap at KH in May...

Don't put more CL pads in!

Just get some Pagids. If you want to chance the rears and leave them in then it'll be fine with different pads front and rear.

Personally, I'd be taking them all out and fitting Pagid RS4-2 all round. Is it really worth the risk?

Martin during my incidient at Oulton Park I had Stephen Docherty from Track-Group (http://www.track-group.com/) in the garage next to me with their 3 lotus race cars. They had loads of advice on pads... They supplied me a set of competition pads to get me home and have to say what a difference! and they dont squeal either. Give Stephen a call as Im sure he will provide some alternative input.

Thanks guys......but with my usual patience I went and ordered brand new RS4-2s from Seriously Lotus.....last night....

Ryan.....Might still be interested in yours as backup. Will let you know by the end of the week. What you want for them or do you want to hold onto them? Drop me a text.

Jam.....As you can see from the above I ran out of patience......Thanks for the heads up though..

I have a full set that are part worn. You're welcome to have them if they'll be any use.

Hendeg, thanks for the offer.

Elise Parts are sending replacement set of front CL5+ pads FOC. result.

I now have 2 sets of front pads. Strangely enough the Pagids just would not fit ad I had to file off around £5 worth of pad to get them to fit in the caliper.......
