I have now had my S1 Elise for ten years now, and was wondering if any SE members had their car for longer?

There are a few who've owned theirs longer, Campbell for a start.

10 years, I bought it as a mid life crisis (I was about to turn 30) and I am 40 in 3 weeks.

14 1/2 years for me.

Have had 5 others I that time as well, but the 160 has been has stood the test of time.
looks, and drives as good today as it did the day I bought it.

No where near as long as most of the other guys, but had the Europa for 3 years, the Evora NA for a month and the Evora S for nearly 3.5 years but I've done about 70,000 miles between them all so would be interested to see how that compares with the rest.

Order was placed Feb 97, delivered 12 months later. I tend to hang on to my stuff, two of the Minis have been 25 years plus in the garage...... I guess they're keepers !

1989 to present : Excel, 2 SE Elans, 2Elise S1s, 2 S2s, Europa, 2 Evoras.
In the same time frame I think we have had about 20 non Lotus cars too ....

At 5 years the Europa has been the longest I have owned a car.

114k miles on the Elise. Added 17k miles to the Evora. Almost all of that grand total with a smile on my face.

Except for the first few miles after BollardGate, France, of course, Tut...
