Kids helmet for an off road buggy

Post by Stephen » Thu Nov 17, 2016 8:18 am

Hi all looking to buy a couple of helmets fit the kids to use with a shark RV50 buggy. What's the pros an cons of a motocross v a full face apart from the obvious one has a visor? Confused!

Pretty sure Motocross are about not restricting air - much more space about the mouth to get large volumes of fresh unimpeded air. Think the big peak on them might be of more benefit in a dirt buggy, mind you, so would be my choice (with goggles, obviously) over a more road based full face for a dirt buggy.

Just spotted that you can get dual sport ones. The Wulf 2013 Prima speed dual sport looks good and meets all the certification. He will have a cage round him anyway
