Cool or crazy Christmas presents

Post by campbell » Sat Dec 24, 2016 10:22 am

It's Christmas Eve (I'm told).

So.

Any time soon, Santa and his elves will be out delivering furiously. While they do that, what cool or crazy presents have you lined up for your nearest and dearest?!

I'll start.

A drone for my 9yo son.

A pre-loved iPhone for my wife. C/w sparkly case :-]

(And tomorrow, if he checked his list twice and you've not been naughty, but nice, we'll find out what cool or crazy things people actually GOT...)

Merry Christmas, fellow petrolheads.

Tight ar$e! Surely she deserves a new one?!

My Mrs is getting some overpriced handbag, which easily could have paid for something much more sensible like my recent major Evora service... and some.

Merry Christmas all.

I'm just happy to be home this Christmas (ok, it took breaking my kneecap to ensure it) but I've been led to believe I'm getting something suitably car/driving related, but my dear wife's perception of car related could differ from mine, so only time will tell :blackeye

All the best for Christmas, fellow SE types :thumbsup

Wendy said she didn't really want anything special this year, so for the 1st time ever I have got her exactly what she asked for.

After the last RL track day or maybe it was Andy's canny remember my old boy loved his PAX so much I've booked him some professional tuition in my car so he can be confident enough to do some driving on some of next years track days. As for miniblonde I forgot her present (left it in Falkirk) so 3 1/2 hours later Ayr-Falkirk-Ayr and it's safely under the tree at the inlaws. Driving home for Christmas came on I nearly crashed the car on purpose!!! Nursing an innis and gunn now :-)

My wife crocheted an Auto Union type B for my dad.

Actually looking forward to tomorrow, Christmas with an excited nearly 3 year old. Innocent enough for it still to be fun, without her asking for everything!!

She asked for a (stuffed) dinosaur, then yesterday at 12.30, when we went to see Santa added a (stuffed) chipmunk to the list.
Amazon prime ftw!!

Completely awesome, Ross.

Go-Pro clone cam for me. Also awesome and a total surprise.

IPhone for Lisa and iPad mini for Eilidh went down well. Former got cool cases to dress it up. Latter was wrapped with the "far too big a box" trick which E seemed to think was quite cool. She thought she hadn't got one, wee scone :-)

Hope everyone has a properly restful day.

Keep the presents updates coming!

And somebody buy Rossybee a sports car pls...
