Granted the lotus isn't in the same league necessarily but will it be a tenth as good as those £1.2m specials? It'll be far better than that therefore compared to its competitors it's good value.

I hope they're all sold, well done Lotus. Stop being such a set of pikeys. :blackeye
To be fair, I think there were only a couple of "pikey" responses, mine being one.

I get where you're coming from and don't disagree. I also wish them all the best with it - not sure about the developed race car chat, as it's not really a GT4 level thing, or is it? If you enter it in something like that, it'll get blown away, but it's pretty expensive for a one-make series special.

But anyway - personal eyebrow raising over the price aside, I do hope it does well.

There are a set of customers who want our fastest small-platform car with a sequential gearbox - but need a closed car (instead of 3-11) to cope with track restrictions. Such a car requires specialist components in low volume = not cheap.

But really wonderful and i'mm glad you like it!

Have to open in New Tab, but it looks stunning in the yellow and black.

Well said that man. :thumbsup

I remember in my Evo days cars were getting sequential gearboxes which were costing around £50k.

Plus remember it's £99,500 plus VAT - most are exported so VAT doesn't feature (here at least)
