Yep, Penelope was back at the usual haunt of CMC. Just a bulb out on the rear but seemingly a pig of a job (however probably an easier bulb replacement than a S2 Elise).

Thanks, its sitting a little bit high for my liking on the standard springs, reckon we will do some suspension work soon to tighten it up a bit.
Spending a fair bit of money (which we will probably not get back) however the thoughts are that we may as well get the car how we want rather than get it perfect when we come to sell. Done that on for far too many cars and not been able appreciate the spend. Well thats man logic for you.
Did you pick up the TT from CMC?

thats the longest ever eBay ad I've read. Don't really remember them back in the day. We had a huge co car park full of Grenadas, Senators, Renault 25s, Golf Gtis and MG Montegos, the days when half the factory got a company car off of an approved list .

I thought I was bad doing 100-200 miles a year in the Spyder. Suspect that it won't be up for sale long with such a low mileage. Suspect Wayne Carini would have been calling you if you were in the states!!

Craig helped us source.
Only had 2 shots so far but pretty impressed. 28k miles and tight as a drum. Needs a better hifi to finish it off but Lisa's delighted
Due an MOT and small service so we'll flush out anything then.

Some impressive results. Can't believe that you can now use a Bentley Turbo R as a runaround at £5k!!
Bet it brought back loads of memories from your previous trading days, wonder how may you bought in at 1/2 the price they are worth nowadays!!

Fascinating scrolling through the results Graeme, thanks for posting. The one thing it proves to me, I should never go to an auction, I'd definitely come home with something.
