I just spotted the 570gt story on Pistonheads and the Seasucker and bike on the roof. Has anyone used one on an Evora, how solid and strong is the roof?

I have a seasucker that I have used for the last couple of years. Never tried it on an Evora but you are more than welcome to see how it fits. I had a mini bomber 2 bike rack initially but have converted it to the talon single bike carrier now as it fits my current car better.

How did you convert between the mini bomber and the talon? I think it should fit ok, I was more worried about the roof of the car not liking a bike hanging off it. If it was a car with a conventional steel roof I wouldn't have thought about it.
I keep being tempted by a GT86, how you find yours?

I'll be keeping it a while longer, need to enjoy it on summer tyres in some summer weather first!

I'll see what I can do!
If you want to come round and give it a wash until then...

I contacted the European distributor and they sold me the talon board. I just attached my suckers from the mini bomber onto it. They also supplies the shorter screws as the mini bomber deck is thicker than the talon.
I'm enjoying the gt86. Very slidy on STD tyres. Much more planted on a set of good street tyres.

I had a VW up for a while and the metal roof on it was so thin, it flexed quite a lot. I would only carry one bike on that roof.
