The pics are fantastic but I think we really need some video for the full effect.

Looking good Jim - here's hoping this crosses paths with my old girl at some point for some 70s nostalgica Italiano
Good to see it at Bacon and Brakes yesterday, what an amazing looking thing. The colour is even more impressive in person, the cheeky yellow sump guard sets it off nicely too.

My Maser was hiding up the back for most of the morning. I would have said hi, but... I realised I have absolutely no idea what you look like :blackeye

Ahhhhh now then Chris - thanks for the kind word on the car - was the first outing of the year so was lovely to give here a wee run :D

The sump guard was already fitted but was a dull metal colour, I decided yellow would liven things up a little, along with the roundels

I was hardly at the car as it's a real social now, I spent loads of time chatting with folk, but I did see you leaving....and you do know what I look like as we did that run to Montrose a few years back when you followed my Cerb in your S1  :thumbsup

:cheers

Of course! There was a guy in a… tweed flat cap? that looked familiar but I couldn’t figure out where from.
It’ll sound like I’m all full of excuses, but I have no visual memory (aphantasia) which doesn’t help me with these things, also I’m socially inept so randomly waking up to someone and accusing them of being Rossybee is my worst nightmare :blackeye
It is a decent social event though, feels more natural than a regular car show maybe because everyone there is an owner, or at least with an owner

Nah it's cool sir! I'm sure I was wearing a flat cap, maybe 🤔😂

I think it's a brilliant way to see lots of cool and unusual vehicles, and we're lucky it being only a short drive away :thumbsup

Bit of a photo dump..

Have been out and about a fair bit in the car over the summer but a house move has meant everything at the moment revolves round paint brushes and finding my way around the kitchen.

Had to get the aircon re-gassed. Not sure if it ever worked properly but after 15 mins in the driving seat I was soaked through with the heat so it's great to have some cool air now. The roof vents are ace but they were just recirculating the warm air.

I rarely have it out of pop-bang-flames mode on the ecu. It would probably do your head in if you drove it daily but it really is totally OTT and fun.

I've done about 1500 miles and reckon I'm getting 15mpg which I guess isn't too bad.
