All part of the ownership experience I guess.

Front lamps - tick.
Roof spoiler - tick.
Livery = Alitalia.
Driver entry/exit training - given

I'm not normally one who bothers about this sort of thing, but seeing that first picture made me thing...
What number plate is it going to wear?
Would be nice if you had an age appropriate / ageless on it...

It will get an initial 2018 reg so nothing really to stop putting a 1970s plate on it but I imagine I'll shuffle a few plates round and put V6 WCR on it for no other reason that it's a V6 engine and I have most of the Vx WCR plates. Well, that's the plan for now anyhow ;)

Recall seeing this Stratos replica with a Evora engine (2GR-FE) installed.. Sounds pretty good, but perhaps not quite Alfa V6 and ITB's..

Yeah, I was tempted at first with the Evora engine but I'd already heard an Alfa V6 Busso engined car and thought it sounded awesome and was a bit deflated with the Evora sound. My thinking was that the induction and exhaust noise was such a part of what I wanted to end up with as just the looks that I was as well going the whole hog with the 3.2 GT engine.

When I was down there at the weekend I saw the ITB setup they have developed for my engine, the cad drawings for the carbon airbox and the physical decat Group 4 exhaust that will be fitted after the car passes the IVA test with a standard set-up. It should sound full-on rally style :)

Slight aside, but I recently seen this body conversion that uses a VX220 chassis (so by default, and Elise too).. The combination of these looks and the Lotus chassis might be my dream sports car!

I've seen that before and it does look epic. I wonder what a total build would cost?

Slow progress, but light at the end of the tunnel.
Engine should be delivered to the car builder at the end of this month.
Body should be fitted in January.
IVA compliant built car for test sometime around March.
Conversion to full rally spec and delivery to me in April.
Hopefully!!

Delays mainly due to LB continually upgrading the spec of the components and me always wanting the latest upgrade. T'is a bit frustrating tho.

Should have pics of the gearbox and diff rebuild next. The plan is for the engine to be in the car before Christmas. Nothing has quite gone to plan yet so we'll see how that goes.
