Tyre wear Wet track versus dry track

Just having a contemplation.

My tyres are borderline legal and currently nursing them till the SIDC on the 11th where I hope to rip the remaining 1.6 mil down to the wire. According to experienced SE'ers this shouldnt be a problem in the dry.

Having had a wee thunk, what is the likely wear rate in the wet, should that be the forecast. Could I bin 1.6mill of tread in the wet?

Tyres will be illegal anyway and new will have been ordered from Wheelsaround so would prefer to get all I can out of the 48's. Methinks the hairpin taken in 1st will help.

Dude, tyre wear is indeed nada in the wet, esp how you drive!!!

But on a serious note, unless the track dries out on the racing line you aint going to see much wear at all!
