Anyhow, I braved 15 miles of snowdrifts in the Discovery and went down to the Dealership to at least sit in the drivers seat and make Brum Brum noises in the deserted snowbound showroom. Being out in the sticks means the Honda physically wouldn't have got the last 4 miles home so I'll get it over the weekend hopefully.

It's fairly Chav-ish in a brutally ugly sort of way. Personally, I like it with the extra high level wing. The interior illumination pack thingy is a nice gimmick with a deep red glow in the foot wells, dash, door sills and elsewhere. The salesman even gave me a free baseball cap :D ... (admittedly it was a McLaren Honda one) :blackeye

That's actually pretty cool. Really don't like the new civic but in type R form it's a beast! We also got a baseball cap when mum bought her type R! It was a lucky strike one signed by Jenson Button (shows how long ago that was!).
Hope you get to enjoy it soon, think we're stuck till April with the snow here!

This is the road to the house. I think I'll just wait for a bit of a thaw :)

I could never see me owning one of these but I do get the appeal. Love the red with black highlights and wheels. Enjoy.

Chavtastic.

Does the engine fit in a Lotus?

Lovely car and admit I like the type r a lot... I was in the Aberdeen Honda dealer last week for some warranty work on my new old shed (Honda CRV). Spent some time eyeing up the type r outside. Although nobody approached me with a test drive or attempt of sale... who would of when I turned up in my £1000 worth of Honda shedness for £2000 of warranty work

Well, I braved the snow and brought it home. First impressions are good but it really is a big car. It also seems one of these things that seems fairly easy to go fast in so it's probably just as well that every variation of the digital dashboard has a BIG speedo looking back.

Chavtastic indeed :D

Car is looking good, must admit there is an admiration for Honda for producing a mainstream car that is full of no compromise aerodynamics.

Now your in the Honda fold, hopefully you will get a test drive in the NSX and report back :)
