I took my 1999 Stumpjumper to the Algarve a few years ago, it's still there performing as holiday transport at my brother's flat.

Great thread!

I have an early Whyte PRST-1 which I don't know what to do with. It's sat in the garage unloved for the last 8 years since I started doing more road cycling. It's completely standard except for the brakes which were upgraded from Avid rim brakes to Shimano XT disc brakes to match the groupset.

The front spherical bearing needs attention, the shocks have never been serviced and the brakes have lost their fluid but otherwise it's in good condition except for the few marks in the very thin paint.

I've read it's now considered a classic although I've no idea how you would value or sell such a beast!
