Is it still owned/run by the same people or has it been sold on?

Leven Motor Company have now taken over the Lotus,Kia and Suzuki operation at Sighthill. with the Volvo franchise now with The John Clark Group at the Glasgow Road facility. Murray still have the Volvo service outlet at Wallyford. Ian and the Lotus techs remain with Leven.

:thumbsup thanks for the update Andy. Contacted Ian this week to say hi, in a place where I can start thinking about a lotus again but next year I explained. If LLE investing in the Lotus marque this is great news.

I popped in last night and met Ian for the first time. Great guy who was happy to chat cars and show me around. They've got a stunning GT410 in red in stock!

Is it just the sales and service staff that have been kept on or is Duncan still about?
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I believe Duncan is still with Murray / Volvo so is no longer involved at Sighthill.

Had a good long hard look at the red GT410 Evora with Ian on Friday night. Lovely bit of kit and sorely tempted to swap in my red NA.

Not quite the spec I'm looking for. Ian was saying that Leven positively encouraged him to get a few more new cars in for stock in the showroom and is certainly does look the dogs bollocks in their right now with a good range of cars.

He thinks Lotus might go where Suzuki is now (so where it was 2 years ago) but that part of the showroom will get a full revamp first. It does sound like the team are happy with the takeover and Leven are investing in the brand and stock. Happy days I guess, we all want a strong Scottish Lotus dealer I am sure.

Very impressive
