Average speed cameras

After years of going through static speed cameras at about 75tuts based on the 10%+2 rule. Does anyone know if average speed cameras work to the same 10%+2 rule. I seem to remember reading somewhere they did allow the same amount of leaniency as the statics. So there is me tonight sticking to 70 on way down to Edinburgh tonight and I’m getting passed by nearly everyone.
Appreciate the thoughts of the masses

I dial in limit +10% on the Snooze Control and it works well. No issues so far.
This advice is not underwritten, and offers no indemnity of any sort

78 on the cruise works for me.
How accurates your Speedo? If you're getting passed when doing 70 on that road I think it's underreading

Made the mistake of assuming all average speed cameras are front facing on the way to Frolic, wont make that mistake again.....
Normally set cruise to 54-55 (GPS indicated in a 50) and never had any issues.
Not enjoying this chat re zero tolerance.....

Agreed, most seem to stick to 70mph quite religeously (frustratingly). I stick to 75-ish and over-take 95% cars.

Done 3 trips now return from Aberdeen to Edinburgh and stuck in 74mph to the cruise control... so far okay. But nervous from a trip back yesterday as I think I’ve been done at 77ish on the Edinburgh to Dundee section with a scamera van at road side.

You'll be okay at an indicated 77 I'd have thought

What he said,77 indicated is only about 71-72. You’ll be fine!

I use the satnav as a guide for speed, set cruise at about 72 on nav which is showing about 79 on the speedo. Never had an issue this way

Evora tends to be about 8mph over at 70 mph, so generally set the Sat nav at a license friendly speed. With winter tyres which are 18/19 rather than the standard 19/20 the difference is even more pronounced.

Not so sure that modern day Speedo’s are as inaccurate as old school cable driven ones. Think you will be closer to your indicated speed than you think.

I use the GPS rather than the car speedo and have it on cruise at 77mph, no problems so far.
I've still to find anyone that's been done by average speed cameras anywhere, do they actually work?

I know of one person being done at the cameras they've got in the short 50 limit at Laurencekirk. They somehow didn't notice the lower limit so cruised through at 70. Other than that I've not heard of any
