It’s impressive, they really have a great product. Yes it’s quite pricy but you can build in chunks and you dont need wires (well you need power). We’ve a Bose acoustimas coming from Miniblonde’s Dad to replace the parts that were sacrificed from the kitchen/family room I suspect that more sonos will ultimately replace the Bose kit given how good it sounds, and how loud it will go!

Don't get me bloody started...

Still loving the Sonos stuff generally. Build quality, ease of use, sound and wireless wonderfulness. Very happy with it. For music. And streaming content/TV, it's fine too.

However, if you watch DVDs or Bluray do NOT buy Sonos.

I was having a wee look at Dolby Atmos. Looks amazing but not sure how many sources you could actually get.

DVD and BluRay you say? Sooo last decade.

Which is why we still use em lots

Is it the audio stream from them that's the prob for Sonos? Does it expect Dolby Digital or summat?

As far as I understand my TV transcodes DTS to Dolby if I remember what the sales guy was telling me. Could be wrong tho and don’t use DVD or Blueray.

Did you buy from me while I was away? Don’t make me put an advert here.

So all commercial streaming. Nothing locally hosted? That's what I was trying to narrow down. To help Graeme's diagnostics.

Only locally hosted stuff is SkyQ and that seems to output Dolby so all good.
