Actually Kinger may just pip him, come to think of it.
Kinger just had a tough paper round, he's only 43.

Campbell let me know the sad news last week - and even though Kellie and I only met Tut on a few occasions, he left a lasting impression (as I'm sure he did with most) as a warm hearted, fun loving guy with a heck of a life story behind him. One thing was for sure though, that he always mentioned how much he appreciated all the support and camaraderie of those from the SE forum - something you should all be very proud of.

Best wishes to all and enjoy your rest Tut - I think you've earned it ;-)

Ally and Kellie

I've also been wondering.

Who is now the elder of the tribe??

My money is on Father G, as Iain Boag is apt to call him.

Any ageing lurkers?!

But see above, my friend. Think Kinger now carries the staff and beard and pointy hat

Sorry to jump into your forum, I’m not an Elise owner, but I just wanted to say I am very glad our Dad, Verian's Davy, had so many great friends and many thanks for all your kind comments.

You guys were a major part of his very eventful life, a life he lived to the full and I am so proud of what he has achieved and the support you have given him over the years. He will be deeply missed by all the Duncan (Ralph) clan both North and South of Hadrian’s Wall.

He never forgave me for joining the police over 30 years ago, not drinking Whisky (long story) or turning up at Tut Towers in a new BMW Z4, which according to Dad was designed and manufactured just for F@*k\+$ hair dressers!

Hopefully, we will get to meet some of you at his Funeral and share some wonderful memories…

RIP Tut The Legend, Dad :cheers

Welcome Mike.

Those pictures are something else. In just about every photoTut has a massive cheesy grin, that's how I will remember him. Trying to eye-bleach the ones of him in speedos mind you.

Andy G and I discussed a charity trackday and party a la AMP3 charity days the other day, going to speak to Rory or someone at Knockhill about it at the weekend when I’m over. Image

Great idea and a great way to honour Tut's memory.

Whilst I was down to the Classic Car Show at the weekend, I noticed one of the car clubs had a car sticker done in memory of one of their well known members who also passed away.

Wondering whether we could get some "feet" car stickers done and sell them off as part of the charity day so that they can don our cars. Most apt way to honour Tut that I can think of (apart from ragging your car till you stole it ) :)

My cousin passed away last year - at 48.
He ran the Vauxhall Club Calibra- all the guys had stickers made for him - and a line of 15 Calibras followed the Hearse.

I could ask Ferg to design something for the ‘Tut Spring Run’ which could be held each year as an event of rememberence to Tut.

No date, so Ferg does not have to make new ones each year, but maybe Tuts age ‘78’ on the side of an Elise and two bare feet below ‘Flinstone style’.

I've spoken with Stuart at Knockhill (they posted up on FB and twitter earlier this week about Tut's passing), and Stuart said that Knockhill would be happy to do a Tut memorial trophy for the best/fastest Lotus at SLS rounds, or something similar that his family would be happy with. Over to you guys to get your thinking caps on...

Hopefully catch up with a few of you tomorrow, when I'm sure there will be many happy tales recalled :)
