Tut the Legend
Re: Tut the Legend
Mike, you are very welcome here and it's great to hear from you.
I'm not sure that Keith and Buckie are ready for the raiding parties this Friday (Old Deer residents were immune after the first Tut Towers subsided!).
But your Dad would have had it no other way. We are coming to celebrate a pure dead mental life and soul and it's a privilege to have been part of your Dad's scene for so long.
Best wishes for the tough time the family surely faces. Yet there are miles of smiles to cheer us all up, in the grand scheme...

PS He was right about that Z4. I hope you aren't bringing it back.

Re: Tut the Legend
Some fantastic photos in there Mike that really capture the guy he was.Mike Duncan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 6:45 pmSorry to jump into your forum, I’m not an Elise owner, but I just wanted to say I am very glad our Dad, Verian's Davy, had so many great friends and many thanks for all your kind comments.
You guys were a major part of his very eventful life, a life he lived to the full and I am so proud of what he has achieved and the support you have given him over the years. He will be deeply missed by all the Duncan (Ralph) clan both North and South of Hadrian’s Wall.
He never forgave me for joining the police over 30 years ago, not drinking Whisky (long story) or turning up at Tut Towers in a new BMW Z4, which according to Dad was designed and manufactured just for F@*k\+$ hair dressers!
Hopefully, we will get to meet some of you at his Funeral and share some wonderful memories…
RIP Tut The Legend, Dad

The outpouring of love and respect for your dad on here and most Scottish car-based Facebook pages is not to be downplayed.
Your dad has left a positive mark on so many people. Someone to be very proud of.

I’m struggling to find the photo of us on an SE run over the Cabrach, early winter, us all wrapped up and tut in his Blue heated Lotus jacket, dodgy tracky bottoms and bare feet on the ice.
How about a ‘barefoot breakfast’ at the Fennel ?

I was thinking of organising a Tut Memorial Run next year and you could do it with no shoes on, or we could just have a group shot with no shoes. Some people might not feel safe driving bare feet, but a five minute group photograph with shoes off should be easy for those attending and a small tribute in remembering Tut.

Re: Tut the Legend
I've also been wondering.
Who is now the elder of the tribe??
My money is on Father G, as Iain Boag is apt to call him.
Any ageing lurkers?!

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'
