Anyone got any experience of this? Successor to Lync and Skype for Business. Wondering if I can use it with clients, across tech boundaries etc. Unlike Slack etc though, there is no "free" version albeit a 12-mth free trial seems available.
Long shot...but thoughts welcome!

I’ve dabbled, you get it as part of a commercial O365 (as opposed to the personal one) offering for about a tenner a month per user plus vat.

hmmmmm
Used SLACK for a couple of years.
TEAMS was released.
Gave TEAMS 3 month trial.
Moved back to SLACK.
TEAMS CONS
- Had no guest access when we trailed teams but I think its available now.
- Conversation UI was a real mess.
- Our dev teams prefer SLACK.
TEAMS PROS
- Single sign on, MFA, Azure AD (org account) all available out of the box.
- Get it with 0365 sub (subs are as little as £6 on enterprise tier)
May give TEAMS another go one of these days but no need at this time. SLACK is the best product in its class for us.

Thanks fellas. Do you have Slack integrated to file sharing / cloud? My client uses Box and I see there is some kind of "slack for box app"...?

Slack has loads of plugins, I expect there will be something that would meet your needs.

SLACK is pretty good for integrations ... apart from SSO, think its SAML based and only available on top tier.
