New favourite in the running and they very kindly dropped the price on a winter promotion on Autotrader so maybe a deal to be done :D

Lego Elise sprinkled with Lotus bits - much easier to extract a reliable +300bhp from.. :P

I think you forget we've had an Evora, long before they became chic. I am in no hurry to repeat the experience.

Mike, by convincing you just mean trading. So cut to the chase and work out what it will take ... holidays (together, no petrolhead chat), holidays (without you), etc. There will be a button ;-)

Do you really need/want the 250 and all the cup bits though .... just looks like bling stuff to Baz off the kerb (this is a technical term - see Baz/OP/2018).

Cheers,
Robin

I had forgotten you had previously had an Evora.

What about a proper colour?!

Mike I can’t help much on this but after not having a lotus since my 340r back in 2008ish I am now back with a 360cup, white with red wheels and complete with “two extra fuel flaps on the wrong side”. After doing the 911, r8, cerbera then an Aston V12 Vantage it’s pretty cool being back to basics with no stereo. Look forward to some track days next yr.
Cheers 👍

Dlogan, you'll enjoy the V6 Cup with it's huge amount of mechanical grip. Very very different to the R8 and 911.

Mike I forgot to add it was your one that was what tempted me to eventually get one. Barely had a chance to drive it so far.

My one was a bit special, took a fair bit of coaxing to get it built but glad I did it even though I ended up not having the time to enjoy it.
And that's the problem this time round as well, that I buy one and don't get the time to enjoy it which leaves it sitting in the garage collecting dust. I would love another Lotus but just worried it ends up in the hobbies cupboard with the rest of the stuff I don't have time for.
