She has finally relented and actually asked for something. I am saved. Panic is over. However I will go with the flowers suggestion as a back up.

We went to Cameron House for our 25th wedding anniversary and she would like to go to their spa for a day of pampering. Box ticked.

I approached the option of a cooking class in a subtle feeling the water type and that went down like a lead balloon. “What is wrong with my cooking like? You can cook your own fcuk food from now on” so no that isn’t going to happen any time soon....
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

I would laugh so much if she buys you a cooking class for your Christmas. :damnfunny

Bought this twice now. Sent S on it with the MiL, doubled my brownie points AND I get fed.
Sounds like a good idea..... BUT... is there not a danger that you might get the response.. "cooking lesson!?!?.. what are you trying to say about my cooking?!" :blackeye

I’d love something like that. My cooking isn’t bad, but it’d be great to learn some new stuff.

We have been to the Nick Nairn School a few times and it’s really good. A new recipe to learn and it’s great to hear and see how a professional chef works. You get a glass of wine on arrival and then the chef discusses the dish and you then sit back and watch him prepare and cook it. You all get to taste his one before you go and start cooking your own. Once you finish cooking, you get another drink to accompany your meal. No dishes to to at the end and it’s a good way to spend some time relaxing together. We both loved it. Also to add, Kathy is a great cook.

We've also been a few times and really enjoyed it. Just a shame it's now closed.

Fun fact, Nick Nairn is friends with Chris Hoy, and had a go of Chris' 2-11 at Oulton park, the 2-11 which used to belong to Mike.

So Nick is practically an SEer. :D

If she likes Gin then how about a Gin subscription?

The one that Sandra gets can be specified to your gin consumption (monthly, quarterly etc)
Is daily an option?
