Glasgow low emission zone

Post by Lazydonkey » Tue Jan 15, 2019 10:58 am

Just in case you don't already know the low emission zone kicked in for buses on 31st Dec and will kick in for cars 31st Dec '22.

Lots of details to be fleshed out but long story short is if you not a euro 6 diesels (sept 15) or euro 5 petrol (Jan 06) then you'll be charged for entering city centre.

I've got under 4 years to pick a replacement for the volvo. Panic!
i3s, Volvo and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I guess this must have hit first bus quite hard as their busses all seemed to be coal powered...

I didn’t, knew about London
Surprised Glasgow is further forward in planning than the other Scottish cities.
