Looking to replace the original fireplace (90yrs old) in our living room.
There's a lack of decent choice in my area, has anyone any experience of online suppliers? We have an installer, so supply only is fine.
Nothing too modern, and needs to be something quite imposing due to the age and size of the property.

Worth giving Euan at https://www.gibsonandgoold.co.uk/
a call for advice. Is/was Gooldie on here. They supplied and fitted our stove but I think they also do fireplaces.

Re: Fireplaces - online
All the places that we have looked have been actual retail units, but in case it helps you the best that we have found for selections were:
- Bonk & Co in Edinburgh (they do have a tricked up Defender 110 which helped with me liking the place)
- Stonecraft in Lower London Road in Edinburgh are also close by these places
- Scottish Stove Centee, they advertise in Scottish Field as one of the largest in Scotland
- May be woth while to lool at Hollyrood Archtectural Salvage as they often have a lot of old fireplaces
May not help but maybe a couple more to try

Well they sold us a fireplace nearly 30 years ago.
