It's only 100kgs heavier, the evora isnt that light!
i3s, Volvo and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

Re: The evora replacement
It is, but you can't fit a bike in it

Nice car Donkey,
Really like these, I find the driving modes a bit of a pest - but its a small issue on an awesome car

Re: The evora replacement
James Hall can fit his mtb in his Elise, so an Evora should be a doddle.

Re: The evora replacement
You can use a seasucker, you can take the bike completely to bits and slot it into the car but it's a lot of hassle. Also seasucker isn't cheap and means I need £100 worth of mounts for mtb and gravel bike (qr, 12mm and 15mm) on top of £300k purchase price. And it's scary lol
m2 means 5 mins to install rack and I'm off. Plus a lot of my cycling includes the toddler and his bike which makes things harder still.
Re driving modes Clark the m2 is super simple... Only changes rack resistance and throttle. Passive dampers. As such I tend to fire up sport on most drives. Nice wee pops and bangs.

A Skoda vRS was all you needed. Has Sport mode too!
But we concede the M2 for you. Cool car

Great choice Martin, not much tempting me out of my M135i, but keeping my eyes on M2 and prices!

Chunky though! (same weight as the M4) Pity they couldn't get it down to sub 1,500kg..

Re: The evora replacement
Nice choice. On my list too for the Evora replacement in due course, which would normally be this summer as have always changed after 3 years but just don’t feel ready to move on from the Evora yet. I have grown more fond and appreciative of it as time has gone on rather than restless and looking towards the 3 year ownership mark to make a change.
The weight thing is definitely more than numbers but how the chassis/platform distributes it. I remember taking my Boxster S to test drive an Evora with Brandon about 8 years ago. Driving the Boxster, then Evora, then Boxster again, I couldn’t believe how the Evora felt so much more nimble and lighter but was actually about 90kgs heavier.
Good move getting the manual too
