Nürburgring GP Circuit - advice

Post by finlay » Sun Feb 17, 2019 5:36 pm

Been to the Nordschleife a few times now but fancy trying the GP circuit. It’s seldom open to public but wondered if anyone had been before on a public day?

Wondered if they simply add the GP circuit in as an extra loop or can you lap the GP only without Nordschleife? Also any ideas on costs?

I think the two circuits are kept separate but when gp circuit in use the t13 bypass is active on the old circuit.

Neil did a track session there once. I think it is substantially less interesting than the old circuit.

Been quite a few times, its very rarely open as one complete circuit, normally split. 15mins on the GP track is the same price as 1 lap of the ring. I think It was 27euros a lap/session last year.
If In Doubt. Flat Out!

I’ve raced on the gp and also did a track morning after a weekend at the ring.

Interesting briefing in German and it took me a few laps to work out it was overtaking on both sides into braking zones. 😂😂😂

Was fun after that.

Done it a few times, quite a nice challenging circuit. Well worth doing.
