I have a number which is no longer needed, sitting on retention.
It's a prefix plate Y7 RMB
Any ideas as to where I can best get a valuation and/or sell it?
Thanks in advance

Ross

I've bought and sold a couple on eBay and still look there frequently to see if anything interesting pops up.

Dealers will offer you a valuation but most will then only list it at that price rather than buy it outright.

For date style plate your basically looking at what they cost. Quick look at DVLA says £399. Then you've got the cost of transfer at £80 which the dvla pays when you buy but your private buyer will want covered, so £320ish. It's a high supply market so if you want to actually sell it you have to price attractively.
Anything above that you need dateless or at least something interesting. You have in your favour that 'RMB' plates are mostly taken so it must be a slightly more popular set of letters. That just means you might actually sell it than not.
All IMO btw.
