Hello Forum
Hi!
I just registerd here on the forum and would like to introduce myself.
My name is Michael and i come from Switzerland. Lotus Elise is my biggest hobby and i love to go on track, preferably evey week:) Another hobby is to work on the car...
Now i planned a Stark conversion, whereby i already removed the old engine (threw a rod thru the block). that is also the reason why i registred here, as i hope to find some inspiration. i already saw, that many of you guys run honda's, so i am looking forward for any hint.
so long, enjoy your weekend!
edit: grml just remarked that i posted in general talk and not in the introduction corner...

Welcome, Michael. Great to have another international member!
Where exactly in Switzerland are you based?
And what tracks do you use - assume CH still doesn’t have any?
Peter Bennett on here is loosely based in CH. Zurich area. But he’s long since sold his Lotuses

Hello all and thanks for the welcome
Yes i am based in basel and i have a membership for the cirquit of anneau du rhin in france. i try to get there often, but now i have to make the conversion first...
besides, i like other cirquits like bresse, chambley and chennevieres. those are all small tracks in france and dont cost an arm and a leg to drive there...

We should put you in touch with Paul Golding to help him design future French Frolic trips!

I few of us were at Anneau du Rhin in 2013 but despite a few tries haven't made it to Bresse, Chambley or Chennevieres.

Re: Hello Forum
Welcome to the forum, you will get loads of experience of Honda conversions on here and a lot more friendlier than SELOC.
Lovely place Basel, good friend of mine has moved across there 18 months ago so pop over now and again (Petrolhead also and he has had an S1 Elise when they were new and S2 Turbo Technics conversion). He has sold his UK Ford Focus RS and is contemplating his next purchase. Often get his links from autoscout for prospective purschase - makes UK car prices seem very cheap in comparison.
Unfortunately I have left the Lotus fold and gone to the dark side always but regularly pop across here as the guys are so friendly.
