Wow. Just stunning. From every angle. Loving the porous bodywork. It is so advanced the price tag is irrelevant. Feel really pleased for Lotus and can’t wait to see what comes from this in terms of more affordable road cars. Hats off to you Hethel chaps.

It does look rather good. A quick rifle through my pockets/bank accounts and investment portfolio should see.... 3 quid in my pocket!!! Oh well.

Reminds me of the 2014 esprit that never was.

I ike the porous design as it reminds me of my S1. Although back then it was more to do with build quality.

Its great to see Lotus pushing the envelope and really taking the lead with this new tech.

If they can find customers for it - fantastic news for them.

And I bet as much as the factory would never admit it, it must be nice to have had a clean slate project, and finally a different chassis to work with.

Spectacular design - although at £1.7m not sure when I'll ever see one!

Hopefully we will see some of the new tech feed down to the next gen mainstream cars, and if the new styling is reflective of the next gen cars, then I cant wait to see them!

I wonder if it never went up the hill at Goodwood due to fear of the VW monster?

Saving it for Hammond to crash on topgear. Plus as I said in bookfarce parts are on back order anyway!

I’m sure they will lend you one to try eventually. For durability testing at least ;-)

I usually get quickly bored with these type of videos but that was interesting enough.

Watched it on Sunday and thought to myself I am not going to post that on scottishelises cos nobody will be interested  I enjoyed the video too. One of the better Evija reviews to date IMO. Just watched top gear from Sunday on the VW IDR , 0-60 in 2 secs .... 12 mile range ..... Nürburgring 6:05.336.
