Competition to name it?
Is that a dig at those that did not buy the Comp? Harsh.

Non comp has N55 engine with single twin scroll turbo and sounds good. Comp has S55 engine with twin single scroll turbos. Essentially two independent 3cyl engines bolted together and sounds depending on who you ask a range of sh*t to all right.

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'

S2 Exige
BMW 435d M Sport - 375bhp..... and stops now (big brakes!😁)
Work Horse - Ford Transit - Full of crap spec....... 170bhp one :-)

Only 70bhp of a difference to an M4 there. The rest is the same.

Slightly bizarrely, the B58 engine in the 240i (and the new Supra) is superior older N55 the M2.. Surprised BMW didn't install the B58 in the M2 from the get go.. :?

Another to the list, picked up a new M2 Comp this afternoon. Replacing the Golf R which has been great but time for a bit more fun.

As it’s the daily it’s DCT with all the packs. Hockenheim Silver.
Really like it so far...

I should also admit to joining the slightly faster AND more economical M140i club.

The B58 is proving to be a worthy successor to the 2JZ good for 640-700 HP on standard forged internals
